Mountain Lake Church members held a field day for the girls on September
15th. The day included several activities and crafts. And the highlight, colored hairspray! The girls had a great time and we
are grateful for this groups support.
On October 6th, the high school
girls attended their Homecoming
Dance. Thank you to Carol Terry
of Bridesmaids Bowtique for donating
the beautiful dresses and Image
Salon for hair and make-up. It
was a night these girls will always
remember!
Girls and staff participated in Lanier
Shore Sweep on September 29th
at Bald Ridge Marina. The group
dedicated time to picking up litter
and giving back to the community.
Afterwards the girls attended the
volunteer party at Lanier Park.
UPS had a day of
service on October 25th. Their
team worked on sorting donations
and completing a roof for the
shed. Thank you to Tim Pidgeon
and the UPS team!
Every week, the girls look forward
to Thursday night! On Thursday,
the girls have dinner at Cici's Pizza.
Jesse's House supporter, Pat
Spence, sponsors two nights and
Cici's manager donates the additional
nights. Recently, Cici's pizza
has become a reward and special
outing for girls who are passing all
of their classes and working hard
in school. It's a great reward to be
able to provide and a great help.
