Resident Services
Upon arrival at the shelter, each child’s case is reviewed by a multi-disciplinary professional team. The team works with each resident to develop a treatment plan that meets her medical, psychological, and educational needs. The ability to offer these resources has been what separates Jesse’s House from other emergency shelters of its type, creating an invaluable organization, for not only Forsyth County, but counties all over the greater Atlanta area.
Residents of Jesse’s House not only receive safe shelter and a warm bed, they also receive medical and developmental services such as dental check-ups, physicals, and individual medical attention. In addition, academic tutoring, recreational therapy, mentoring, family counseling, and individual and group counseling are available on site.
