Resident Services

Upon arrival at the shelter, each child’s case is reviewed by a multi-disciplinary professional team. The team works with each resident to develop a treatment plan that addresses her safety, permenancy, and well-being. This includes medical, social, educational, and mental heath needs.

Residents of Jesse’s House not only receive safe shelter and a warm bed, they receive medical and developmental services such as dental check-ups, physicals, and individual medical attention. In addition, academic tutoring, recreational activities, mentoring, family counseling, and individual and group counseling are available on site.

The ability to offer these resources has been what separates Jesse’s House from other youth shelters of its type, creating an invaluable organization, for not only Forsyth County, but counties all over the greater Atlanta area.
